AI Image Prompt Library

Hand-written, tested prompts sorted by use — portraits, products, landscapes, food, architecture, illustration and more. Copy one or open it straight in the generator.

By The IMAGEKA team Updated 15 min read

This is a working library of prompts written for IMAGEKA. Each one is a full descriptive sentence or two rather than a pile of tags, because that is what IMAGEKA's models follow most reliably, and each is paired with the preset that sends it to the right model. Use them as they are, or treat them as templates: keep the structure, swap the subject, and you have a prompt for your own idea.

Key takeaways
  • "Try it" opens the prompt in the generator with the matching style preset already selected; "Copy" puts the plain text on your clipboard.
  • Every prompt follows the same pattern: subject, setting, light, composition, then mood or medium. Change one part at a time.
  • Prompts marked with a preset rely on it for their finish. Prompts set to no preset describe their own style, so leave the style chip on Default.
  • IMAGEKA picks a model to suit each prompt. The preset and key words (a person or product with Photorealistic, the Anime preset, watercolour or pixel art, words in quotes) decide which one, so keep those when you adapt a prompt.
  • Seeds are random on each run, so generate two or four images and pick the best rather than judging a prompt on one result.

How to use this library

Each card has two buttons. Copy copies the prompt text. Try it opens the generator with the prompt filled in and the style preset that the prompt was written for already chosen. Some prompts were written for a preset such as Photorealistic or Watercolor, and the card's preset text is added to the end of the prompt when you generate. Others already describe their medium, lens or palette in the wording, so they open with Default selected to stop a preset from adding conflicting style words. If you are unsure what a preset adds, the art styles guide lists the exact text for all twelve.

The preset and wording also decide which of IMAGEKA's models draws the image. Portraits, products and food with the Photorealistic or Vintage preset go to the photorealism model; the Anime preset goes to the anime model; Oil Painting, Watercolor, Sketch and Pixel Art go to the painterly model; posters, icons and anything with words in quotes go to the fast general model, which is best at lettering. The prompts below are worded so they reach the model that suits them. That is why some say "product photo" or "food photo": those words make sure a product or dish is recognised and sent to the photorealism model.

You still need to enter the five-digit security code and press Generate. Results usually appear within seconds and are saved only in your browser, so download anything you want to keep.

To adapt a prompt, keep its skeleton and replace the nouns. "A ceramic mug on a marble counter in morning light" becomes "a leather wallet on a marble counter in morning light" without losing the lighting and composition that made the original work. Changing the subject is low risk. Changing the light or the camera angle changes the whole image, so do that deliberately and one step at a time. The prompt-writing guide explains the structure in more depth, and lighting and camera terms covers the vocabulary used throughout these prompts.

Tip

The Negative Prompt field works on the photo, anime and painterly models, which already get default negatives such as bad hands, blurry and watermark, so add only specific things that keep appearing. The fast general model, which handles posters, icons, landscapes and most backgrounds here, largely ignores it. Whatever the model, the reliable fix is to rewrite the positive prompt to describe what should be there instead, for example "a clean, empty wooden table" rather than a negative of "clutter".

Portraits & people

For portraits, name the light source and its direction before anything else; it shapes the face more than any adjective. Describe a person by age range, clothing and expression rather than by "beautiful" or "perfect", and choose 768×1024 portrait for head-and-shoulders framing. Hands are still the weakest point, so prompts that keep hands out of frame or busy with an object give cleaner results.

Portrait · window light
A close-up portrait of a woman in her sixties with silver hair tied back, sitting beside a tall window. Soft daylight falls from the left, leaving the right side of her face in gentle shadow. She wears a navy wool cardigan and has a calm, slightly amused expression. Plain warm grey wall behind her.
Side light from one named direction gives shape to the face; the plain wall keeps attention on the expression.
Professional headshot · neutral
A head-and-shoulders business headshot of a man in his thirties with short dark hair and a trimmed beard, wearing a light blue shirt and dark grey blazer. He faces the camera with a relaxed, friendly smile. Even, soft studio lighting and a smooth light grey backdrop.
Use it for placeholder team pages or mock-ups; for a real staff page you should use real photos of real people.
Environmental · craftsperson
An environmental portrait of a potter in her forties at a wheel in a small cluttered studio, clay on her forearms, looking up at the camera mid-task. Late afternoon sun comes through a dusty window behind her, creating a warm rim of light on her hair. Shot on a 35mm lens at eye level, natural colours, documentary style.
A 35mm lens and "documentary" keep the workplace in frame; the 85mm Photorealistic preset would blur it away, so this uses Default.
Candid · street café
A candid photo of two friends in their twenties laughing at a small outdoor café table, one holding a coffee cup with both hands. Narrow cobbled street in the background, striped awning overhead, late summer evening light.
The Vintage preset adds film colour and light leaks; giving one person a cup keeps their hands occupied and believable.
Low-key · dramatic
A low-key studio portrait of an older man with deep lines on his face and a white beard, lit by a single softbox high to the right. Most of the frame falls into black, with only one side of his face and the shoulder of his dark coat visible. Serious, thoughtful expression, sharp detail in the skin texture.
"Low-key" plus a single named light reliably produces a dark, contrasty frame. Try swapping the subject's age and clothing.
Outdoor · golden hour
A half-length portrait of a young woman with curly red hair standing in a field of tall dry grass at golden hour. The low sun is behind her, backlighting her hair, and her face is softly lit by light bouncing off the grass. She wears an oversized cream knit jumper and looks off to the side.
Backlight plus a stated fill source avoids the silhouetted face you often get with "sunset portrait".
Lifestyle · home office
A wide lifestyle photo of a man in his fifties working on a laptop at a wooden kitchen table, reading glasses pushed up on his head, a mug and an open notebook beside him. Bright, airy room with plants on the windowsill, morning daylight, natural colours, slightly high camera angle.
Good for blog headers about remote work. Use 1024×768 so the room has space around him.
Silhouette · backlit doorway
The silhouette of a person standing in a bright open doorway of a dark barn, seen from inside. Dust floats in the shafts of light around them. The figure is a pure dark shape against the glowing white landscape outside, with no facial detail visible.
Silhouettes sidestep facial and hand errors entirely, which makes them useful for anonymous editorial images.

Products & e-commerce

Generated product shots are best for backdrops, mood and concept work, not for showing a real item a customer will receive: the model cannot reproduce your actual packaging or label. Describe the surface, the props and the light, keep the product generic, and add your own product later in an editor if you need to. Square 1024×1024 suits most shop listings.

Product · marble & morning light
A product photo of a plain white ceramic mug on a white marble countertop, steam rising from it. Morning sunlight comes from a window on the left, casting a long soft shadow to the right and a pattern of leaf shadows across the marble. Clean, bright and minimal, with empty space on the right side.
The empty space on one side is deliberate: it leaves room to add a price or headline later.
Skincare · water ripple
An unlabelled frosted glass dropper bottle standing in a shallow pool of still water, with gentle ripples spreading out around its base. Pale sage green background, soft diffused light from above, crisp reflections on the water surface. Studio product photo, centred composition.
Saying "unlabelled" stops the model inventing fake brand text on the bottle.
Footwear · concrete & hard light
A product shot of a single white leather trainer with no logos, resting on a raw concrete block. Hard direct sunlight from the upper right creates a sharp, dark shadow across the concrete. Solid terracotta-coloured wall behind. Bold, graphic composition with strong contrast.
Hard light and a single saturated wall colour give a fashion-campaign feel without any props.
Gadget · floating on pastel
A pair of matte white wireless earbuds and their open charging case floating in mid-air above a pastel lilac podium, with soft shadows beneath them. Smooth gradient background from lilac to peach, soft studio lighting, centred.
The 3D Render preset suits clean tech objects; floating items read as deliberate rather than as a physics error.
Flat lay · stationery
A top-down flat lay of stationery on a light oak desk: a closed kraft-paper notebook, a brass fountain pen, a small potted succulent, three paper clips and a folded pair of reading glasses, arranged with even spacing. Soft overhead daylight, minimal shadows, natural colours.
"Top-down" and "even spacing" are what make it a flat lay; listing exact objects stops random clutter appearing.
Candle · cosy dark mood
A product photo of a lit candle in a smoked amber glass jar on a dark walnut side table, next to a stack of two hardback books and a folded wool throw. The candle flame is the main light source, glowing warmly, with the rest of the room falling into deep brown shadow.
Making the product itself the light source gives a strong, warm mood for seasonal listings.
Backdrop only · podium scene
An empty product display scene: a round travertine stone podium in the centre of the frame, a dried pampas grass stem leaning on the left, and a soft beige plaster wall behind. Warm diffused light from the left, gentle shadow, nothing on top of the podium. Studio photography, front view.
Generates a background you can drop your own product photo onto in an editor, which is often the most honest use.

Food & drink

Food looks appetising when you describe texture and moisture: glossy, crisp, steaming, crumbly, condensation on the glass. Name the camera angle, because overhead suits flat dishes like pizza and bowls, while a low side angle suits burgers, cakes and drinks. If you are illustrating a real menu, remember the image shows a dish, not your dish.

Breakfast · overhead bowl
An overhead food photo of a bowl of thick Greek yoghurt topped with sliced fresh figs, blueberries, toasted oats and a drizzle of honey, on a pale linen napkin over a light wooden table. A small spoon rests beside the bowl. Soft window light from the top of the frame.
Overhead framing shows every topping; listing them in a sensible order keeps the arrangement tidy.
Burger · low angle
A juicy double burger on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheddar dripping down the side, crisp lettuce and sliced tomato, photographed from a low side angle on a wooden board. A few chips beside it, dark slate background, warm side lighting picking out the glossy bun.
A low angle makes stacked food look tall; "glossy" and "dripping" sell the texture.
Coffee · café counter
A flat white in a speckled ceramic cup with a simple leaf of latte art, on a saucer on a wooden café counter. In the soft-focus background, a chrome espresso machine and shelves of glass jars. Morning light from a window on the right, warm and inviting. Food photograph, 50mm lens at table height.
A "simple" leaf design renders more reliably than complex latte art patterns.
Cocktail · moody bar
A deep red cocktail in a coupe glass with a twist of orange peel on the rim, condensation on the glass, standing on a dark marble bar top. Behind it, out-of-focus warm amber bar lights. A single spotlight from above makes the drink glow. Dark, rich and elegant drinks photograph.
Swap the drink colour and garnish to match any recipe; keep the spotlight and bokeh for the mood.
Baking · rustic bread
A food photo of a freshly baked sourdough loaf with a deep golden, blistered crust and an open ear, cut in half to show an airy crumb. It sits on a floured wooden board with a bread knife and a small dish of butter. Soft side light from the left, rustic kitchen background.
Specific baking terms ("open ear", "airy crumb") are understood and push towards a convincing loaf.
Street food · night market
Street food: skewers of grilled chicken glazed with a dark sticky sauce over glowing coals at a night market, smoke curling up through the light of hanging bare bulbs. Close-up from the side, the grill glowing orange underneath, blurred crowd and stalls in the background.
Smoke and a glowing heat source add movement; works with most grilled dishes.
Menu illustration · lemons
A loose illustration of three whole lemons and one halved lemon with two green leaves, arranged in a small cluster on a plain white background, with plenty of empty space around them.
The Watercolor preset turns it into a menu or label decoration; the white space makes it easy to cut out.

Landscapes & nature

Landscapes need depth, so describe a foreground, middle ground and background. Time of day and weather do more than any quality keyword: "overcast", "after rain" or "first light" each give a completely different image. Use 1024×768 landscape and leave the style on Default for most of these, because the Photorealistic preset's 85mm lens and shallow depth of field suit portraits, not wide views.

Mountain lake · first light
A wide landscape photo of a still alpine lake at first light, with smooth grey boulders in the shallow foreground, a dark pine forest along the far shore and snow-capped peaks behind catching pink sunlight. Thin mist lies on the water. Shot on a wide-angle lens, everything in focus.
Three layers of depth plus "everything in focus" gives a classic landscape photograph.
Coast · stormy
Dramatic dark storm clouds over a rugged sea cliff, heavy waves breaking white against black rocks below. A single shaft of sunlight breaks through the clouds and lights a patch of green grass on the clifftop. Wide view, cold blue-grey tones with that one warm highlight.
One warm accent in a cold scene gives the eye somewhere to land.
Forest · morning fog
A quiet beech forest on a foggy autumn morning, a narrow dirt path leading from the bottom of the frame into the mist. Orange and copper leaves cover the ground, the tree trunks fade into soft grey layers with distance. Calm, muted, slightly mysterious.
A path leading into the frame is a reliable composition device; fog gives automatic depth.
Desert · night sky
A long-exposure night photo of red sandstone rock formations in a desert, the Milky Way arching across a deep blue sky full of stars. The rocks are faintly lit by soft blue starlight. Wide-angle, low horizon so the sky fills two thirds of the frame.
"Low horizon" plus a stated fraction reliably gives a sky-dominant frame.
Countryside · summer road
An empty country road winding through rolling green fields and hedgerows in late summer, a few round hay bales in the field on the right, tall cumulus clouds in a pale blue sky.
The Vintage preset makes this feel like a holiday snapshot from decades ago.
Macro · dewdrops
An extreme close-up of dewdrops clinging to a spider's web strung between blades of grass at sunrise. Each droplet reflects the warm orange sky. The background is a soft blur of green and gold.
Here the Photorealistic preset's shallow depth of field helps: it is a close-up subject, not a wide view.
Aerial · river delta
A top-down aerial photo of a braided river delta, pale turquoise channels branching across grey sand and patches of green vegetation, forming an intricate natural pattern. Overcast light, no horizon visible, abstract and graphic.
Aerial abstracts make good wallpapers and slide backgrounds because they have no single focal point.
Painted · harvest evening
A wide view of a valley at dusk, golden wheat fields in the foreground, a small stone farmhouse with a lit window in the middle distance, and blue hills under a glowing orange and violet sky.
A lit window gives a painted landscape a focal point and a sense of story.

Architecture & interiors

For buildings, specify the camera height and lens: "eye level, straight verticals" gives a clean architectural shot, while "low angle" makes a building look imposing. For interiors, list the main materials (oak, terrazzo, linen, brass) and the light source; materials do more to define a style than a label like "modern". The model will invent plausible but not real buildings, which is fine for mood boards and not for showing a real property.

Interior · Scandinavian living room
A bright Scandinavian living room with white walls, a pale oak floor, a low light grey linen sofa, a round wooden coffee table and a large fiddle-leaf fig in the corner. Tall windows on the left let in soft daylight. Interior photography, eye level, straight verticals, calm and uncluttered.
"Straight verticals" stops the walls leaning in, which is the main tell of amateur interior shots.
Exterior · modern house at dusk
A modern single-storey house with a flat roof, timber cladding and floor-to-ceiling glass, photographed at dusk. Warm interior lights glow through the windows against a deep blue evening sky. A shallow reflecting pool runs along the front. Architectural photography, wide lens, eye level.
Dusk with interior lights on is the standard "hero" time for architecture; the contrast of warm and blue does the work.
Kitchen · warm minimal
A minimal kitchen with matte sage green cabinets, a white terrazzo worktop and brass tap, open oak shelves holding a few ceramic bowls, and a bowl of lemons on the counter. Late morning sunlight through a window on the right. Interior photography, three-quarter view.
Swap the cabinet colour and worktop material to explore options for a renovation mood board.
Street · old town after rain
A narrow old-town street of tall pastel-coloured houses with wooden shutters and iron balconies, the cobblestones wet and shining after rain. Evening street lamps reflect in puddles. Viewed from the middle of the street at eye level, lines converging into the distance.
Wet surfaces double the light sources through reflections, which adds richness to any street scene.
Brutalist · low angle
A massive raw concrete brutalist tower photographed from a low angle against a clear pale sky, repeating rectangular balconies forming a strong geometric grid. Hard midday sun casts deep shadows in every recess. Black and white architectural photograph, high contrast.
Black and white suits concrete: it removes distracting colour and emphasises texture and pattern.
Bedroom · hotel calm
A calm boutique hotel bedroom with a low bed made up in crisp white and taupe linen, a curved plaster headboard wall, a rattan pendant lamp, and a small reading chair by a window with sheer curtains. Soft afternoon light, neutral earthy palette, interior photography.
Sheer curtains diffuse the window light, which keeps the image soft and avoids blown-out windows.
Sketch · townhouse facade
The front facade of a three-storey Georgian townhouse with a black front door, a fanlight window above it, iron railings and sash windows, drawn straight on with accurate proportions and light shading.
The Sketch preset gives an architect's-sketchbook look; "straight on" keeps the perspective simple.

Illustration & characters

Character prompts work best when you describe the character's look in concrete terms (shape, colours, clothing, one distinctive feature) and give them something to do. Describe a medium yourself, such as "children's book illustration" or "gouache", or pick a preset like Digital Art, Anime or Watercolor, but not both. Avoid naming existing characters or studios; describe the qualities you like instead.

Children's book · fox
A children's book illustration of a small red fox wearing a yellow raincoat and boots, splashing in a puddle on a rainy village lane. Soft gouache textures, rounded friendly shapes, muted warm colours, a few ducks watching from the side. Gentle and playful.
One outfit item plus one action is enough to give a character personality without overloading the prompt.
Anime · rooftop at sunset
A teenage girl with short black hair and a school blazer sitting on a rooftop railing at sunset, headphones around her neck, looking out over a sprawling city. Warm orange sky with long pink clouds, a light breeze moving her hair.
The Anime preset sends this to the anime model and handles the linework; your prompt only needs the scene and the mood.
Anime · tag-style character
1boy, messy brown hair, amber eyes, oversized green hoodie, holding a paper cup, standing under a cherry blossom tree, petals falling, spring afternoon, soft sunlight
The anime model responds well to short comma-separated tags like these; sentences work too.
Character sheet · robot
A friendly small delivery robot with a round body, two short legs, a single large circular eye screen and a teal and cream colour scheme, shown in a front view standing on a plain light grey background.
Ask for one view at a time; requests for several matching poses in one image are unreliable.
Editorial · flat vector
A flat vector editorial illustration of a person balancing on a giant pencil above a stack of books, with a lightbulb floating beside them. Limited palette of navy, coral and cream, simple geometric shapes, no outlines, subtle grain texture, plenty of empty background.
A named three-colour palette is the key to getting a coherent, magazine-style illustration.
Mascot · bakery owl
A cute cartoon mascot of a plump brown owl wearing a small white chef's hat and holding a croissant, standing and waving with one wing. Thick clean outlines, bright flat colours, simple shading, isolated on a plain white background.
Treat it as a concept to refine; a mascot you will use as a trademark should be redrawn by a designer.
Watercolour · botanical
A botanical study of a single stem of foxglove with tall purple bell-shaped flowers and broad green leaves, drawn with scientific accuracy on cream paper, with an empty strip of plain paper beneath it.
Plain paper rather than a label avoids invented Latin text. The word "label" would also send the prompt to the general model instead of the painterly one.
Linocut · fisherman
A linocut print of an old fisherman in a small rowing boat on choppy waves, a lighthouse on a distant headland. Bold carved black lines on off-white paper with a single accent colour of deep teal for the sea. Rough, hand-printed texture with slight ink unevenness.
Printmaking terms like "linocut" or "risograph" give strong, distinctive results and are worth experimenting with.

Fantasy & sci-fi

Imaginative scenes go wrong when they stack too many ideas. Pick one central idea, ground it with familiar physical details (moss, rust, rain, worn stone) and give it a clear light source. Scale cues, such as a tiny figure at the base of a huge structure, make fantastical subjects read immediately. The Concept Art preset suits environments; for characters, describe the medium yourself.

Environment · floating island
A grassy island floating high above a sea of clouds, waterfalls spilling from its edges and dissolving into mist, an old stone tower with a glowing window at its centre. A tiny traveller stands on a rope bridge leading to it. Late afternoon sun behind the island.
The tiny figure provides scale; without it, floating islands often look like small models.
Sci-fi · rain-soaked city
A dense futuristic city street at night in heavy rain, towering buildings covered in glowing signs in teal and magenta, steam rising from vents, a lone figure with a transparent umbrella walking towards the camera. Reflections on the wet street.
Signs will contain made-up lettering; if that bothers you, say "abstract glowing shapes" instead of signs.
Creature · forest guardian
A huge gentle creature like a moss-covered stag with branching antlers that grow small white flowers, standing in a misty ancient forest. Shafts of pale green light fall through the canopy. Detailed fantasy painting, soft atmospheric depth, calm and reverent mood.
Basing a creature on a familiar animal plus one change ("antlers that grow flowers") keeps anatomy convincing.
Space · research outpost
A small research outpost of white modules on a barren red moon, a gas giant with faint rings filling half the sky above it. Long shadows from a distant sun, a parked rover with its headlights on, dust in the air. Realistic science-fiction style, wide cinematic frame.
"Realistic science-fiction" plus mundane details like headlights makes it feel like a documentary still.
Character · wandering alchemist
A wandering alchemist in a long patched travelling coat covered in pockets, small glass vials glowing amber and green on a leather belt, a brass monocle over one eye and a satchel overflowing with scrolls. Three-quarter view, standing on a windy hillside path.
Props and clothing tell the story; the face can stay simple.
Interior · wizard's library
A circular library inside a stone tower, bookshelves spiralling up several floors connected by wooden ladders, candles floating in mid-air, a large brass telescope pointed through an open window at the night sky. Warm candlelight against cool moonlight, richly detailed fantasy illustration.
Contrasting warm and cool light sources is a reliable way to make a dense interior readable.
Surreal · whale in the sky
A surreal scene of an enormous blue whale swimming slowly through the sky above a quiet seaside town at dawn, small birds following it like fish. Onlookers on the promenade below look up. Soft pastel colours, dreamy and serene, realistic lighting.
Rendering the impossible element with "realistic lighting" is what makes surrealism convincing.

Backgrounds, textures & wallpapers

Background images should be calm and should not compete with whatever goes on top. Ask for "plenty of empty space" or "negative space on the left" explicitly, and keep contrast low where text will sit. For desktop wallpapers use 1024×768; for phone wallpapers use 768×1024. Both will need upscaling in a separate tool if you want full-screen sharpness on large displays, since IMAGEKA has no upscaler.

Blog header · desk with space
A wide top-down photo of a light wooden desk with a laptop, a cup of black coffee and a small plant grouped on the right third of the frame. The left two thirds are empty wood grain, softly lit by daylight, ideal for placing a headline. Clean, calm, natural tones.
Stating exactly which part of the frame stays empty is far more reliable than "copy space".
Gradient · soft mesh
An abstract soft gradient background of blended peach, lavender and pale blue, with smooth flowing shapes and a very fine film grain. No objects, no text, no hard edges. Calm and modern.
Good for slides and social posts. Fine grain helps prevent colour banding when the image is compressed.
Texture · handmade paper
A flat, evenly lit close-up of off-white handmade paper with visible plant fibres and a slightly uneven surface, filling the entire frame. No shadows, no edges, no objects.
Use it as an overlay texture in an editor. Saying "filling the entire frame" avoids a sheet lying on a table.
Texture · dark slate
A top-down view of a dark grey slate surface with subtle natural texture and faint mineral streaks, evenly lit with soft light, filling the whole frame, completely empty.
A classic food and product backdrop; swap slate for linen, terrazzo, walnut or concrete.
Wallpaper · minimal dunes
Smooth sand dunes under a clear sky at dusk, gentle curves in soft shades of apricot, rose and dusty violet, long soft shadows in the hollows. Minimal and abstract, no people, no footprints, large calm areas of colour.
Works at both orientations; run it at 768×1024 for a phone lock screen.
Wallpaper · night forest bokeh
A dark blue-green forest at night, completely out of focus, filled with soft round bokeh lights of warm gold scattered through the trees. Dreamy, low contrast, no sharp detail anywhere.
A fully blurred image never shows artefacts and keeps icons or text readable on top.
Presentation · paper-cut layers
Layered paper-cut hills in shades of teal fading from dark at the bottom to pale at the top, a small round sun in the upper right, the top half of the image an open pale sky. Soft shadows between the paper layers, clean and simple.
The open upper half suits a slide title; the layered depth keeps it from looking flat.

Icons & seamless patterns

Be realistic here: IMAGEKA produces raster images, not vector files, and even its general model, which handles icons and logos, is weak at precise logos, exact symmetry and brand lettering. Use these for simple icon concepts, stickers and repeating patterns, then trace or redraw anything you need as a real logo. For patterns, ask for "seamless repeating pattern" and "evenly distributed"; the edges will not always tile perfectly, so check them in an editor and touch up the seams.

App icon · paper plane
A simple app icon of a white folded paper plane on a rounded square with a smooth blue-to-violet gradient, slight soft shadow under the plane, centred, flat modern design, plain white background around the icon.
One symbol on one shape is the level of complexity the model handles cleanly.
Icon set concept · weather
A row of four simple weather icons on a white background: a sun, a cloud, a raindrop and a snowflake, each in a thick rounded line style in dark navy with one yellow accent.
Expect slight inconsistency between icons; use the result as a sketch for a designer or for tracing.
Sticker · cactus
A cute die-cut sticker of a smiling potted cactus with a small pink flower on top, thick white border around the shape, bold outlines, flat bright colours, isolated on a plain light grey background.
"Die-cut sticker" and "thick white border" are understood and give a print-ready look.
Pattern · botanical repeat
A seamless repeating pattern of small olive branches and lemons evenly scattered on a cream background, flat illustration style with a limited palette of olive green, lemon yellow and soft white, no overlaps, consistent spacing.
Good for wrapping paper and packaging mock-ups; check the edges tile before printing.
Pattern · geometric tiles
A seamless geometric tile pattern of interlocking quarter circles in terracotta, mustard and deep teal on an off-white background, flat colour, mid-century modern feel, perfectly regular grid.
Simple geometry with a fixed three-colour palette tiles more reliably than organic shapes.
Emblem · simple badge
A simple circular badge emblem showing a single stylised mountain peak with a small sun above it, two colours only, dark green and cream, bold flat shapes, no text, centred on a plain white background.
"No text" matters: invented lettering is where emblem results usually fall apart. Add text yourself in an editor.
Game item · treasure chest
A single wooden treasure chest with gold trim and a slightly open lid, gold coins glinting inside, front three-quarter view, centred on a plain dark purple background.
The Pixel Art preset suits game items; one object per image keeps the sprite clean.

Social media & marketing

IMAGEKA can render short text, so put the exact words in double quotes and keep them to two or three words. The quotes also send the prompt to the fast general model, which is the best of IMAGEKA's models at lettering, whatever preset is selected. Spelling still goes wrong sometimes, so generate several and zoom in before posting. For anything longer, such as dates, prices or addresses, generate the image without text and add it in a design tool. The social media guide covers which resolution to pick for each platform.

Poster · summer sale
A bold summer sale poster with the large words "SUMMER SALE" in thick rounded white letters across the middle, on a bright coral background with a few simple illustrated palm leaves and a sun in the corners. Flat graphic design, high contrast, plenty of breathing room around the text.
Two words in quotes, large and centred, is the format IMAGEKA renders most accurately.
Café · chalkboard sign
A black chalkboard sign standing outside a café door with the words "FRESH COFFEE" hand-lettered in white chalk, a simple chalk drawing of a steaming cup underneath. Brick wall and potted herbs around it, morning sunlight, realistic photo.
Chalk lettering is forgiving: small irregularities look intentional.
Event · workshop announcement
A clean square social media graphic for a pottery workshop: a pair of hands shaping clay on a wheel in the lower half, photographed from above, and the word "WORKSHOP" in elegant dark serif letters on a plain warm beige band across the top.
Add the date and booking link afterwards; the model is unreliable with numbers and small text.
Quote card · empty background
A calm square background for an inspirational quote: soft morning light on a sheer white curtain moving gently in front of an open window, pale and airy, with a large empty low-contrast area in the centre.
Generate the background only and type the quote yourself; long sentences will not render correctly.
Launch · bold 3D type
The word "NEW" as large inflated glossy 3D letters in bright cobalt blue, floating slightly above a pale pink floor with soft shadows beneath them, a few small spheres around, clean studio background.
Three-letter words in a 3D style are very reliable and make strong announcement posts.
Seasonal · autumn flat lay
A top-down autumn flat lay on a cream knitted blanket: a mug of hot chocolate, a few orange maple leaves, two small pumpkins, a pine cone and a chunky knitted scarf arranged around an empty space in the centre. Warm soft daylight, cosy seasonal mood.
The empty centre is space for your own product or a short message.
Story · neon sign
A glowing pink neon sign reading "OPEN LATE" mounted on a dark brick wall at night, the neon tubes casting a soft pink glow on the bricks, a few out-of-focus city lights in the background.
Use 768×1024 for a vertical story frame; neon text in quotes renders well when it is short.

Adapting a prompt to your own idea

The quickest way to get a good image is to find the library prompt closest to what you want and change it in stages, generating after each change so you know what each edit did. Here is a worked example. Say you run a small tea shop and want an image for a new loose-leaf blend.

Step 1: choose a starting point. "Product · marble & morning light" already has the bright, minimal feel you want. Open it with Try it and generate once to see the baseline.

Step 2: swap the subject. Replace the mug with your product, keeping everything else the same:

Worked example · step 2
A product photo of a small glass jar of loose green tea leaves with its lid off, beside a white porcelain cup of pale green tea, on a white marble countertop. Morning sunlight comes from a window on the left, casting a long soft shadow to the right and a pattern of leaf shadows across the marble. Clean, bright and minimal, with empty space on the right side.
The light, surface and composition carry over unchanged, so the result keeps the original's quality.

Step 3: change one mood element. If the image feels too clinical for a cosy brand, change only the surface and light colour: "on a weathered oak table" and "warm late-afternoon sunlight". Generate again and compare. If the result is better, keep it; if not, go back.

Step 4: fix what is wrong, positively. If the model adds a teapot you did not ask for, do not rely on the negative prompt. Make the scene more specific instead: "only two objects on the table: the jar and the cup". This prompt goes to the photorealism model, so a negative of "teapot" would help a little, but describing exactly what is present works on every model and is more reliable than listing what is absent. The troubleshooting guide covers other common fixes.

Step 5: generate in batches. Set the image count to four. Because the seed changes every run, small differences in arrangement and light appear between images, and picking the best of four is often more effective than further rewording. When you have a version you like, download it, because it is stored only in your browser. For using the result commercially, read rights and risks first.

Frequently asked questions

Will I get exactly the same image as someone else who uses the same prompt?

No. IMAGEKA uses a random seed on every run and there is no seed control in the interface, so the same prompt gives a different composition each time. The overall style, subject and lighting will be similar; the details will not.

Why does "Try it" sometimes select no style preset?

Those prompts already describe their own medium, lens or palette, for example "linocut print" or "35mm lens, documentary style". Adding a preset on top would append conflicting style words, such as an 85mm portrait lens on a wide landscape. Leaving the preset on Default lets the prompt speak for itself.

Can I use images made from these prompts commercially?

All of IMAGEKA's models are open-source models released under open licences that allow commercial use of outputs. That does not settle everything: AI images may not be protectable by copyright, and you are still responsible for not including trademarks or real people's likenesses. The commercial use guide explains the details.

Why is the text in my poster misspelled?

IMAGEKA's general model, which handles prompts with quoted text, renders short text better than older models but still makes mistakes, especially with longer phrases, small lettering and numbers. Keep quoted text to two or three words, make it large in the composition, and generate several versions. For anything important, add the text in a design tool.

Can I upload my own product photo and put it in one of these scenes?

Not in IMAGEKA. There is no image-to-image, inpainting or editing. Generate an empty backdrop, such as the podium or slate prompts above, and combine it with your own photo in an image editor.

Do I need to add words like "8K, masterpiece, best quality"?

No. Those tags mattered more with early open models. IMAGEKA's models follow natural sentences well, the specialist models get suitable quality terms added automatically, and concrete description of light, materials and framing does far more than generic quality words.
